2.4.3 Career Development

Career Development - This category includes all the actions and activities that are used to assist an employee to continue to acquire the competencies (skills, knowledges, abilities and behaviors) needed to performance successfully in an organization. It also includes the philosophy that career development is a shared responsibility between the employer and the employee.

ASTD Workplace Learning and Performance ScorecardThe American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) developed a scorecard tool that facilitates online real-time benchmarking and decision support.
